New school year, new curriculum and new (old) name:

This last week brought a lot of “news” at the bible school in Rustenburg, South Africa. Not only is a new school year beginning but we also have a new name for the bible school. Global School of Theology – North West (GST-NW) is now Southern Africa School of Theology – Main Campus (SAST-MC). Our motto is, “Proud History - Bright Future.” The first year students are also starting a new curriculum as SAST-MC partners with the Africa’s Hope Discovery Series.
It is always an exciting time of year when the campus comes alive again. This week we welcomed new and returning students to a time of orientation with classes starting on Tuesday, February 7th.

As we begin a new school year here are some prayer requests:

1. New students as they get used to a new way of life on campus and in class
2. Returning students as many of them will be finishing up and going out into the “harvest field” soon
3. Faculty as we have the opportunity to invest in the student’s lives
4. For more students to answer the call to ministry and come to SAST- MC
5. Our family:
   1. Kirk and Marlene – The next few months look to be really busy with teaching, visiting teams & guests, and weekend ministry.
   2. Kealy – Decisions on next step in life with work, etc.
   3. Kyle and Kaylee – Starting a new marriage and new jobs and God’s direction
